Zelda Calc: Majora Destroys Termina

As the resident Zelda fan in most of the online communities I'm in, I usually get asked how strong is Link, how powerful is Majora or Fierce Deity Link, what's the most impressive feat in Zelda, etc. I would usually respond to those questions by saying that Majora destroyed Termina, and the feat should be approximately continent-level if not more. Although, the problem with making this claim is that there isn't much to back it up nowadays. Most resources for this feat, such as the calcs on VBW or OBD, either have broken links or outdated information; for example if you look for the original calc on the Outskirts Battledome, it uses the kinetic energy required to pull the real-world moon out of orbit, and has yet to update or edit this. I have trouble finding any resources that reference the explosion itself, which is usually the reason I cite for the characters being that powerful. This calculation will aim to rectify that.

 First, to lay down some context.

This is the cutscene that plays if you allow Skull Kid to drop the moon. The speed and size of the moon itself will not yield any results worth looking into, again, it's the resulting explosion we're concerned with. There is also a cutscene where Majora creates a similar explosion without the moon.

This cutscene plays wherever Link is, and the explosion will reach him within seconds wherever he is in Termina. The 3DS version of the cutscene claims that it annihilates Termina and its inhabitants.
Now, I will not be using the game map or the size of the giants and their strides from Clock Town, as I believe they are not to scale and will not produce accurate results. Instead, I will be basing this on the fact that Termina houses several unique biomes, such as a mountain range and a forest, and will compare them to the average size of these biomes.

Again, this map is not to scale, I'm simply using it as a reference point for the types of biomes within Termina. In addition, here is a list of all areas in the game as well.

Average mountain range: 3,500 km across and roughly 6,000 m above sea level
Area of Red Sea: 169113 mi^2 (438052.459 km^2) and max depth of 3040 m
Size of average forest (Sonian forest used as reference): 10,920 acres (44 square km)
Size of average town: about 1000 km^2

I will be multiplying the size of average forest by 6 to account for the amount shown, and the size of the average town by 8 to account for the various settlements, ranching and farming areas, temples, fields and other areas that were left unaccounted for.

44*6=264
1000*8=8000

Now to convert all the meter values to meters squared and add them all together to get our total area the explosion covered, which brings us to...

3500+438052+264+8000+40.96+100
449956.96 km^2
To account for 3D space, I’ll use formula for a rectangular solid since we can use the same value of area for our width and we have an approximate value for our height based on the mountain range height and sea depth from earlier.
V=lwh
lw (surface area)=449956.96 km^2
h=9 km (6000+3000 m)
V=449956.96*9=4,049,612.64 km^3
Since the word used in the cutscene is "annihilated", we'll assume pulverization for our low end and vaporization for our high end.
Pulv.: 214.35 joules per cubic cm
Vap.: 25700 joules per cubic cm

Cubic km to cubic cm= 4.04961264000000013e+21 or 4049612640000000000000 cc

 Low End: 214.35*4049612640000000000000=868,034,469,384,000,000,000,000 Joules or 0.2 Petatons of TNT equivalent
High End: 25700*4049612640000000000000=104,075,044,848,000,000,000,000,000 Joules or 24.8 Petatons of TNT equivalent

This would scale to Fierce Deity Link and base form Link's Great Fairy Sword.
